Southern comfort can mean many different things to different people. For Alia Edwards, the creator of MacAttack, southern comfort means good food made from scratch, made with extra-rich ingredients. Southern comfort makes the stomach happy, and that’s what MacAttack set out to do with their mac and cheese. Made from scratch and baked with love, MacAttack satisfies their customers' southern comfort craving, one bowl at a time.

Why Mac and Cheese?

Alia’s signature mac and cheese sparked love and enthusiasm in her circle of friends and family. It became her signature dish, and she was asked to bring it to every event she would attend. Due to the love and high demand, Alia started MacAttack as a mobile food business during the summer of 2022. What started out as a hobby unexpectedly became something bigger due to the overwhelming amount of appreciation and support. MacAttack was flooded with emails and DMs asking if there were other places MacAttack could be purchased. This began the start of MacAttack to-go, providing customers with the option to buy and have gourmet mac and cheese ready to go and enjoy at home.
